Chloë In an Instagram post of her family of three, which she captioned “Welcome to the world”, the Queen & Slim actress introduced her son, Vanja Sevigny Mačković, detailed when and where he was born (“May 2nd New York City”), thanked the staff at the hospital where she delivered him (“Mt Sinai East”), and sent “blessings” to the families having babies during these difficult times. She finished the post with the hashtag #ilovemyboys and the baby chick hatching emoji.
May 5, 2020: American actress, model and It-girl Chloë Sevigny has reportedly welcomed her first child with boyfriend and art gallery director, Sinisa Mackovic. The pair, who are notoriously private, are yet to comment on the exciting news.
Per E! News, a representative for the 45-year-old American Horror Story star has confirmed that the rumours are in fact true, adding that post-birth the new mother and her newborn—whose gender and name are yet to be revealed—are both “healthy and happy.”
TMZ was the first publication to break the news of Sevigny’s pregnancy after she was spotted by paparazzi with a visible baby bump earlier this year walking the streets of New York City accompanied by Mackovic. The images captured depict Mackovic touching the star’s stomach. Shortly after the news made headlines, the actress took to Instagram for confirmation.
Despite the fact that Sevigny rarely reveals any details about her relationship with Mackovic—who she has reportedly been dating for a little over a year—since revealing that she was expecting with a maternity photoshoot in January, she has given her Instagram followers a close look at her pregnancy journey.
The baby bump-filled gallery of images on Sevigny’s account show the heavily-pregnant star in a bikini on the beach prior to New York City’s lockdown following the spread of the coronavirus, posing in at-home maternity photoshoots, fronting lookbooks, and starring on the covers of both HommeGirls and The Cut.
Almost four years ago, Sevigny jokingly equated her youthful look with the fact that she was yet to have children. Despite this, we have no doubt the glowing new mother’s famous appearance will continue to evolve as she does.
“I think the baby wear and tear and stress on your body is part of the reason why people say, ‘Why do you still look so young?’” she said in an interview with W Magazine. “I really think that that unfortunately ages women, especially when they have children in their 30s, not in their 20s. So I think, first and foremost, it’s that and genetics.”
